Welcome to Meatless Miami

Meatless Miami is all about spreading the gospel about how easy it is to find delicious, gourmet vegan and vegetarian cuisine in South Florida. There are loads of exceptional, progressive restaurants that cater to veg-centric palates, and MM intends to list as many of them as possible. (We also love guest reviewers so be in touch if you'd like to make us hip to a new veggie eatery - info in the sidebar).

Price rating scale, based on a meal for one person without drinks:
$ under $10
$$ under $20

Notice too that as of this point there are very few "$$$" restaurants listed yet. This is because yet another benefit of eating vegetarian is that the dishes are cheaper than when you order meat so you can eat at nicer restaurants more often!

Tofu…vegetarian chili…a freakin’ MACROBIOTIC PLATTER…this place is a well-rounded vegetarian’s dream. Here Comes The Sun serves “low fat, low salt, and low cholesterol dishes, because we care about your health!” Even tho that doesn’t sound like much fun, their food is yummy, plentiful, and satisfying. To those people who complain that they never feel “full” when forgoing meat, just try to finish their Oven-Baked Spinach Lasagna without loosening your belt. We also highly recommend their famous “Sunburger” veggie burger and just smother that thing in their addictive "Sun Sauce" which is thoughtfully supplied at every table. Bonus props for offering soy cheese, spirulina shakes, and other culinary touches that make health-food connoisseurs feel at home. Take out and delivery available.

I ordered their $7.50 Sunburger and was served a pound of unappetizing yellow and green stuffing mashed into a grilled patty. Not my idea of a good veggie burger, and I don't like their prices.
