Also in Kendall is the glorious little fast food version of P.F. Chang's, Pei Wei on 88th St and 137 Ave. Every plate can be ordered with tofu and veggies instead of meat, and it is really good stuff. I recommend the Teriyaki bowl with tofu & veggies and brown rice!

I just wanted to let you guys know that my girlfriend and I discovered that you can request ANYTHING be served with tofu replacing meat. Its a little more pricy than other vegetarian food, but the mongolian beef w/ five spiced tofu (yes, you can even get different varieties of tofu) is great.

dissapointing, the staff wasn't very knowledgeable, and the food was greasy. Yes they have some vegan food, but not a place I would want to go back to.

P.F.'s can definitely be on or off, I'll probably edit the post a bit to reflect that since I've been eating there more often. I also always ask for my ma-po tofu "NOT FRIED" because otherwise it definitely can be swimming in oil. Usually they're pretty cool about special requests so speak up if something isn't up to par and they'll usually remedy it pretty quick.

I went to PF Chang's recently for the first time and was way disappointed! I was so excited to see all the veg options on the menu, and psyched that they had brown rice, but the veggie ma po tofu was super greasy and oily, with wilty, mushy broccoli...ugh. Maybe it was an off night.

Try eating at Essential Apothecary, a vegetarian place near here! It's on Tamiami Trial (SW 8th St) by 122nd Ave, in a huge nto so pretty looking shopping strip.

I also noticed a vegetarian place by Fountainbleu Blvd and 107 Ave underneath Royal Thai (a great Thai restaurant btw).
